Version A

Version B
The difference is subtle, but I would love a little help deciding which one is best. Version A or Version B? Please vote in the comments!
(Also, yeah, I did a thing/am doing a thing. Why does making a cover make it feel so real?)
I honestly can’t tell the difference. It’s very effective.
Really looking forward to a new book in this series.
It is hard to see any difference, but A was the one for me…..
I masked out the edge of the ring in A, so that the image is framed by green instead of bleeding off the page. It’s subtle, but I felt like the image was a little unbalanced when it bled off the page.
I like A because it is more tidy. I like boundaries.
But…when did an engagement ring become a “lucky” thing? And how does running away or getting lost relate to luck or to an engagement ring? Seems all over the place…
But I join your other fans as quite happy to have another Tassamara story.
The running away and getting lost show up in the very first chapter — in fact, the first 1000 words of the first chapter — and the engagement ring makes its first (but not last) appearance in the second chapter, so the reader will not have long to wait for that information. The luck, however… well, I’m going to guess that you, because you know me, figure that out by about 2000 words in, but some people will have to wait longer. 🙂 But those things are all very, very connected! Speaking of which, did you know that the “something borrowed” in the wedding tradition has to come from a happily married woman? The idea is that the luck of the happily married woman will rub off on the bride.
cover a but it was really hard to see the difference
I see the difference and prefer A.
I like version b
A~ I really like the covers!
A
I cheated and read all of the comments before deciding and I have to agree–I like A much better than B because it appears sharper/cleaner (framed?). Can’t wait to see the new book! Kudos and many thanks for continuing this excellent series!
Thank you all!
