Endings are so hard to write. I’m not quite finished. I might not even be finished today. I keep fiddling around with the epilogue, with what I want for Rose and what ought to happen in her conversation. That said, I am within a couple thousand words of my ending, I’m sure.
I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do once I’m done. Look for beta readers, I suppose. But this book might find its way into the theoretical drawer and stay there for a while.
Yesterday’s goal of 1000 words — not quite met. I think I wrote 800 or so, and fiddled around with a few more.
Today’s goal — to fiddle around some more and make some decisions. It’s not about word count, right now, it’s about learning what happens.

Endings. Sheesh. I’m just trying to finally get going on a beginning. 😉

Endings are hard even when you know exactly what’s going to happen. My last book is still waiting for me to write the ending.
